How this helps your child
- Communication with peers
- Teamwork and turn-taking
- Confidence in social settings
- Learning from other children
Our group programs give children a safe, structured place to practise the social and communication skills they learn in one-to-one therapy. Small groups, led by trained therapists at our centre in Uttara, Dhaka, help children enjoy being with other children and grow in confidence.
Who the group programs help
- Children with autism or developmental delays who are ready to learn alongside others
- Children who find it hard to share, take turns or join in play
- Children preparing to start or return to a mainstream or special school
What happens in a group session
Each session follows a clear, predictable routine: a greeting circle, guided play, a short learning activity, music or movement, and a calm goodbye. Therapists use pictures, simple language and lots of praise so every child can take part at their own level. Groups are kept small, so each child still gets personal attention.
How parents are involved
We share what your child practised and suggest easy ways to continue at home, such as turn-taking games or greeting routines. Before joining a group, every child has an assessment so we can place them with children of a similar age and stage.
